In efforts to right-size the workforce during a downcycle, retrenchment sometimes becomes necessary. In the event there is no other solution but to pursue this option it is important to ensure that skilled talent is not lost during this time and can be easily sought when there is demand. Toward this end, MPRC collaborates with HRDF Outplacement Centre, a project under Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) to retain talent and reduce potential skills shortages in the future.

With MYOGCaRe, the HRDF Outplacement platform will match Malaysian oil and gas talents released during the downturn to companies looking for skilled employees.
