BROOKE DOCKYARD AND ENGINEERING WORKS CORPORATION
Brooke Dockyard established in 1912 (reputedly the oldest shipyard in Malaysia). Brooke Dockyard is a Government Statutory Body, 100% owned by the State Government of Sarawak under the Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Transportation. Active in oil and gas (offshore and onshore), shipbuilding, ship repair and bridges construction industries.
Brooke Dockyard, started as a major offshore modules fabricator in 1996, and has accomplished more than 20 offshore modules and 4 offshore living quarters and 15 substructures. Since then, other building the navigational boats, multi mission vessels, ferries for marine engineering works and steel-arch bridges in efforts to be a major service provider in the petroleum, marine and manufacturing industries.
Our key services is providing low cost full fledged EPCIC solution for marginal field development, living quarters for marginal fields. Our main products also include wellhead platform, low cost transportation & installation using Ranee Brooke II barge and cable stayed iconic bridge.
We have two fabrication yards, one in Demak and one in Sejingkat. Our combined yard capacity is capable to undertake 30,000 MT of fabrication works annually. Each yard has a bulkhead capacity of 4,000 mt. Our Demak yard has a 48,000 sqm open fabrication area, 11,000 sqm covered workshop and a 1,440 sqm warehouse while Sejingkat has a 38,000 sqm open fabrication area and a 4,880 sqm covered workshop.
