The Strategic Communications – Public Engagement and Branding Senior Analyst contributes to MPRC success by assisting and supporting the Head of Strategic Communications, in executing communications initiatives covering social media, brand, stakeholder management and engagements and event management.
Work closely with Publications and Media Relations unit, and other departments to plan and develop relevant event/stakeholder engagement to further elevate MPRC’s profile. Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time by the Management / Head of Department / Reporting Manager whenever deemed appropriate. |
Knowledge
- Local Malaysian with at least a bachelor’s degree related to communications, public relations, marketing business management and other relevant fields with a minimum grade of second class upper.
- At least four (4) years of experience in corporate communications / branding / stakeholder engagement/ event engagement.
- Strong hands-on experience in stakeholder management and brand strategy; must be a self-starter and takes initiatives.
- Agency experience and knowledge about oil and gas industry is a bonus.
Skills
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office applications (including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical abilities and critical thinking skills.
- Strong storytelling skills and able to engage with various levels of stakeholders.
- Good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia is recommended.
- Basic/intermediate skills in design/video editing is recommended.
