ANALYST (INDUSTRY, INTERNATIONALISATION AND FINANCE)

This role is responsible in supporting Head of Department/ Reporting Manager in implementing and monitoring department KPIs/ projects/ initiatives particularly in this/ these area(s):

  1. Execution of initiatives under the National OGSE Industry Blueprint 2021-2030 (Industry, Internationalisation & Finance)
Key responsibilities

To support the Reporting Manager in the following areas:

  • Execution of initiatives under the National OGSE Blueprint 2021-2030 (Industry, Intenationalisation & Finance)

- Monitor and report of all success metrics related the Key Performance Indicators (“KPIs”) to relevant stakeholders and recommend corrective actions when required.

- Compiles, interpret information on related initiatives and formulate reports.

- Prepare relevant correspondents/ reports/ presentations/ paper works, meeting arrangements.

- Keep up-to-date on current knowledge of the industry and related markets being researched.

- Establish new and maintain close working relationship with stakeholders. Engage stakeholders at all operational levels to obtain alignment and information.

- Participate in internal and external meetings, task forces and workgroups.

  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time by Reporting Manager/ Head of Department/ management whenever deemed appropriate.
Requirements
  • Possess at least a Bachelor Degree holder in any field from a recognised university with a minimum grade of second class honours.
  • Have at least 1 to 5 years working experience in the relevant field.
  • Academic background and/or experience in oil & gas is a bonus.
  • Good computer skills especially, Microsoft Office Excel and Power Point.
  • Familiar with good record keeping and maintaining database.
  • Able to multi-task.
  • Good stakeholder management skills.
  • Skills and knowledge to organise high-level government/ industry engagements.
  • Communication skills.
  • Excellent written/ verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Additional language is an advantage.
  • Self starter and can work independently or with minimal supervision.
